"The Lodge" accommodates our larger guests, typically those weighing 35 lbs. and up. It features suites with dimensions of 7×8, 8×10, 10×10, and 10×12. Each Lodge suite also includes a dog door leading to a covered patio and a private play yard so your dog has the freedom to come and go throughout the day.
Because dogs find comfort in the company of other dogs, our Lodge is a “companion” kennel. If a compatible match is available, single-family dogs will be paired with another dog that shares their temperament and activity level. Families with two or more dogs will have their own suite. If you want your dog to bunk alone or if they are non-social, we offer private suites for an additional charge.
Smaller dogs have their own building—The Cottage—with a more traditional kennel setup. These kennels are 5×6 indoors with a 5×12 outdoor run with artificial turf to enjoy. This turf is comfortable to lay on, does not irritate the pads of their feet, and minimizes dirt dragging into their sleeping quarters.
Dog doors for both buildings open at 7:00 AM and stay open until dark, with a final outside visit as late as 8:00 PM. We also provide every dog with a raised Kuranda bed for their inside suite for a cozy place to snuggle up when not out to play. Rubber mats are also available for older dogs if needed to ensure they are as comfortable as possible during their stay.
Play Areas
We have seven play areas where guests can play, chase balls, swim, dig in the sand, and/or socialize with other dogs.
We also offer two water features for added enjoyment. Smaller dogs can visit the fun splash pad with bubblers and fresh-flowing, non-chlorinated well water, and our lodge boarders can enjoy our beautiful spring-fed pond! Because both water features use fresh water, your pet will not ingest chemicals during this play experience.
The outdoor play areas include natural grass, shade trees, and a covered area with play equipment for the dogs to enjoy.
On rainy days, we also have an "aisle play" option for the dogs. While it may not have as much area to romp around as our outside yards, we provide toys, games and lots of extra snuggles to ensure all of that extra energy has a good outlet, even when the weather isn’t so nice.
PLEASE NOTE: We will not accept any dog that is a nuisance barker, an escape artist, destructive to its kennel or yard, or aggressive towards another boarder or an employee.
